Al-hodeidah: Al-Hodeidah University held on Tuesday an intellectual cultural seminar entitled 'Background of the American Position within the Zionist Project and the Qur'an's Position in Confronting It,' as part of the national campaign to support al-Aqsa and coinciding with the eleventh anniversary of the glorious September 21 Revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar, attended by academic, administrative, and student forums, examined the dimensions of the American-Zionist project and its hostile objectives toward the Islamic nation, reviewing episodes from the bloody histories of the United States and Europe. Sessions highlighted the dangers of global Freemasonry and its extension into modern Zionism, the Qur'an's stance in confronting these projects, and the importance of returning to God's Book and divinely guided leadership as the sole option for liberating the holy sites.
In remarks at the event, University President Dr. Muhammad al-Ahdal and Deputy Governor for Services Affairs Muhammad Halisay emphasized that the September 21 Revolution represented a correction of the course of previous revolutions and restored the nation's awareness of its central issues, foremost among them the Palestinian issue. Halisay said that unlimited U.S. support for the Zionist entity had manifested in crimes of extermination, displacement, and starvation against the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip. He described the American-Zionist aggression as an extension of an open war targeting the nation's resources and unity, affirming that confrontation can only be achieved through jihad, resistance, and countering expansionist schemes. He also praised Al-Hodeidah University's role in raising awareness of the Palestinian cause and the challenges facing the Ummah.
Dr. Ahmad al-Zira?i, Assistant Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, reviewed the history of the United States' emergence on the ruins of the genocide of Native Americans, the looting of their lands and resources. He argued that America still relies on a strategy of wars, killings, conspiracies, and plundering other peoples' wealth, and that the usurping Zionist entity is merely an extension of those crimes. Al-Zira?i also discussed European history in al-Andalus and attempts to falsify Muslim achievements and attribute them to the West as part of an intellectual and civilizational war against the Ummah.
Dr. Majid al-Idrisi, head of the academic forum, addressed the origins of Freemasonry and its links to Zionism, noting the Zionist lobby's influence over U.S. decision-making and its orientation in favor of the enemy entity. He explained that the Zionist lobby is not limited to American Jews but includes groups known as Christian Zionists who dedicate their influence to serving the occupation. Al-Idrisi said the Zionist lobby has been one of the most prominent influencers of American foreign policy toward the Arab world, particularly since the 1948 occupation of Palestine.
Major General Fadel al-Dayani, official in charge of public mobilization for the northern square directorates, stated that the Qur'an has exposed Jewish conspiracies and revealed their plans, methods of deception, and falsehood. He stressed that victory over the enemy will be achieved only by a sincere return to God's Book and divinely guided leadership, citing Yemen's experience in facing aggression and challenges as an example.
