General

Sana'a: The General Administration for Women at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals organized today a cultural seminar on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, during the seminar, the Director of Women's Affairs, Balqis Al-Jarmouzi, affirmed that the Mawlid al-Nabawi is an opportunity to renew the connection to the Messenger of God (PBUH), and to reflect on his biography, morals, and great message, which embodies mercy, tolerance, justice, and solidarity.

She pointed out that this blessed occasion represents an important station to draw lessons from the biography of the most beloved of God's creation, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, whom God sent as a mercy to the worlds, a leader for humanity, and a light illuminating the darkness.

The participants in the seminar also highlighted the significance of the occasion in the hearts of the Yemeni people, and the close connection it embodies to the Messenger of God, their adherence to his path, and their emulation of his morals and pure biography.

They addressed the role of women in enhancing community awareness, entrenching faith-based values, and contributing to serving society and supporting the development process, drawing from the biography of the Greatest Messenger the meanings of patience, steadfastness, and giving.

The seminar focused on several key themes, most notably the implications of commemorating the birth of the Greatest Messenger, and the honorable role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet and spreading the message of Islam, stressing the necessity of adhering to the Holy Quran and the Messenger (peace be upon him and his family).

It also addressed the danger facing the Islamic nation from its enemies through their repeated insults to the Holy Quran and their attempts to erase religious and moral identity.

The seminar concluded that returning to the Book of God, following the path of His noble Messenger, and adhering to his approach is the way to salvation from the challenges facing the Islamic nation.
