Sana'a: The General Mobilization in Al-Thawra District of the capital Sana'a organized a cultural seminar on Tuesday in Al-Hasaba Al-Janubiya neighborhood, marking the annual anniversary of the 'Al-Sarkah of defiance against the oppressors,' held under the theme: 'Al-Sarkah is a Weapon and a Stance.' During the seminar, Member of the Shura Council Yahya Al-Mahdi reviewed the strategic and ideological significance of the slogan launched by the late leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi in opposition to tyranny and oppression at a time of submission to global powers.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mahdi emphasized that the slogan has succeeded in distinguishing ranks and exposing the true enemies of the nation, whether global arrogant powers or hypocrites aligned with their criminal projects and schemes targeting the nation without exception. He pointed out that the Islamic nation today is obliged to uphold this slogan in the face of major challenges affecting the region, noting that the enemy fears it because it represents a faith-based force that exposes their conspiracies and mobilizes peoples to confront their arrogance.
The seminar affirmed that the slogan is not merely words, but a religious and humanitarian stance that shakes the foundations of tyrants and oppressors and restores the nation's confidence in its sound principles, renewing disavowal of its enemies. It also highlighted the continued commitment of the people of Yemen, faith and jihad, to the path of general mobilization and readiness to confront aggression, powers of arrogance, to support the causes and sanctities of the nation.
