Seminars Mark Prophet’s Hijra Anniversary in Sana’a Districts

Sana'a: Mobilization units in Ma'in, Al-Tahrir, and Azaal districts of the Capital Secretariat organized cultural seminars on Tuesday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Hijra (peace be upon him and his family), under the slogan 'The Word of Allah is Supreme.'

According to Yemen News Agency, a seminar and cultural event in the Ma'in district was attended by members of the Yemeni Scholars Association, including scholar Saleh Al-Kholani, Assistant Deputy of the Capital Secretariat Sami Sharaf Al-Din, and Head of the Guidance Sector Dr. Qais Al-Tal. The event highlighted the significance of commemorating the Hijra to deepen the connection with the Prophet Muhammad and to emulate his path in confronting the adversaries of the nation.

In the Azaal district, an awareness cultural seminar titled 'The Prophet's Hijra. Lessons and Insights' was organized. Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association scholar Khaled Musa, district director Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, and mobilization official Abdullah Al-Buhairi participated in the seminar, which reviewed key lessons derived from the Hijra, a pivotal event in Islamic history.

The seminar emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's Hijra serves as an opportunity to draw upon values and principles of faith and to stand firmly against attempts to undermine Islamic sanctities, while upholding the banner of Islam and striving in the path of Allah.

It also condemned repeated and systematic insults by global Zionism and its affiliates against Islamic sanctities, including what was described as an insult by the 'Zionist criminal Trump' against Mecca and the Holy Kaaba, calling for unity and collective action within the Muslim nation to confront such actions.

In the Al-Tahrir district, another awareness seminar was held to discuss the events of the Prophet's migration (peace be upon him and his family) and his biography in establishing the foundations of Islam. The seminar highlighted the transformations achieved through confronting polytheism, moving the nation from a state of oppression and humiliation to one of freedom, guidance, and clear victory over enemies.

The event depicted the Hijra anniversary as a moment to draw inspiration from values of sacrifice, devotion, patience, and steadfastness in confronting tyrants and arrogant powers, stressing the importance of commemorating the occasion to strengthen ties with the Prophet's biography and reinforce faith-based values in the hearts of the Muslim community.
