September 21 University Celebrates Success of Scientific Conferences

Sana'a: September 21 University for Medical and Applied Sciences held a ceremony on Tuesday to honor members of the committees who contributed to the success of the 11th Scientific Conference, dedicated to discussing graduation research of the fourth cohort at the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the university's 12th Scientific Conference and the First Conference of the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine.

According to Yemen News Agency, University President Dr. Mujahid Ma'sar emphasized that scientific conferences are a key driver for developing academic and research performance, as well as for strengthening the university's role in serving society and the educational process. He noted that the university has organized 12 scientific conferences over the past six years, reflecting its active academic progress.

Dr. Ma'sar added that the university will continue organizing similar conferences to discuss graduation research for students of other faculties, following the success achieved by the Faculty of Medicine conferences, stressing that the recognition comes in appreciation of the efforts of outstanding staff and employees across various sectors.

President of Amran University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhala'i, praised the achievements of September 21 University despite its relatively recent establishment, noting that the 13th conference, planned in partnership between the two universities, will mark a qualitative leap in academic education.

Speeches were also delivered by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Muti' Abu Arij, Secretary-General of the 11th Conference Dr. Mohammed Al-Iryani, and Secretary-General of the First Laboratory Medicine Conference Dr. Sami Al-Dubai, expressing pride in the level of medical education and scientific activity at the university.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, leaders of the conferences, organizing, scientific, and preparatory committees, participants, presenters of scientific papers, members of the evaluation committees, and exemplary employees for the year 2025 were honored.
