Sana'a: September 21 University organized a cultural event to commemorate the Day of Guardianship, in cooperation with the University Student Forum.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers during the event emphasized the importance of the principle of guardianship in consolidating faith values and strengthening cultural identity. They recalled the stances of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in upholding truth and establishing justice.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service praised the university's level of professional discipline and academic achievements. University President Dr. Mujahid Musar emphasized that the Day of Guardianship represents a renewed pledge to adhere to the Muhammadan approach.
A number of academics and activists also delivered speeches addressing the humanitarian and faith dimensions of guardianship. The event concluded with a poem that expressed the spirit of the occasion.
