Sanaa:On multiple occasions spanning from 2015 to 2023, airstrikes and shelling attributed to US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and their mercenaries resulted in numerous casualties and significant property damage in various districts of Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, on October 6, 2015, airstrikes in the Takhya area of Baqim District in Saada Governorate led to the deaths of a woman and two children, with two men injured. The attack destroyed their home completely. Similar strikes in Bani Gharban area of Saqin District claimed the lives of three women and injured four others. The Majz District of Saada also faced ten airstrikes, leading to the destruction of several homes and damage to others.
In Hodeida, airstrikes targeted the 'Munif' farm and customs facilities, causing extensive damage. The Al-Razwah area in Nihm District of Sana'a Governorate was hit in 2016, killing a man and a woman and injuring eight others, while strikes in Al-Khokha District destroyed homes and vehicles. Further attacks in Saada and Taiz Governorates targeted infrastructure and residential areas, causing widespread destruction.
On October 6, 2017, airstrikes resulted in the deaths of three citizens, including a child, in Munabbih District, Saada. The same year, shelling and airstrikes in Al-Jawf and Sana'a Governorates led to multiple casualties and damage to homes.
Subsequent years saw continued aggression, with airstrikes hitting various targets, including populated areas in Saada, Sana'a, and Hodeida Governorates. In 2018, shelling and airstrikes injured civilians and damaged property in border districts.
In more recent incidents, such as those on October 6, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched attacks on Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate, with mercenaries establishing combat positions and shelling areas in Hodeida Governorate, exacerbating the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
