Saada: The Services Sector in Saada Governorate organized a speech event today to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him), under the slogan "Imam Zaid, an Ally of the Qur'an." During the event, which was attended by Shura Council member Hadi al-Hamzi and Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council, Mohammed al-Imad, the Deputy Governor for Services Sector Affairs, Saleh Aqab, highlighted the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons from the revolution of Imam Zayd (peace be upon him), which came to correct the reality of the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Aqab reviewed some of the role of Imam Zayd's (peace be upon him) renaissance in confronting Umayyad tyranny and preserving the authenticity and purity of Islam, emphasizing the importance of following Imam Zayd's (peace be upon him) example in confronting tyranny, demonstrating truth, and supporting the oppressed. Aqab pointed out that the Yemeni people today, with their support for the oppressed in Gaza, adhere to the approach of the Imam of Revolutionaries.
