Dhooran: Official and tribal mediation efforts in Dhamar Governorate succeeded on Saturday in resolving a murder case between members of the Al-Ayadi family from Qaa Al-Haqal Al-Jiyaa area in Dhooran District, which occurred nearly a year ago.
According to Yemen News Agency, during a tribal gathering led by mediation committee chief Abdulmohsen Tawous, along with committee members, Supreme Court Judge Mohammed Al-Dailami, Dhamar Security Director Brigadier Mohammed Al-Mahdi, District Director Ahmed Al-Saih, and tribal figures from Khawlan and Anis tribes, Sheikh Saleh Al-Ayadi announced, on behalf of the victim's family, Abdulkarim Qasim Al-Ayadi, a pardon for the perpetrator, Mohammed Al-Ayadi. This gesture aimed to seek Allah's reward and honor the mediation committee and attendees.
Tawous praised the victim's family for their gesture of forgiveness and reconciliation for the sake of Allah, as well as the efforts of all those who contributed to resolving the case. He highlighted the unity of Dhooran's residents and their initiatives in settling community disputes through fraternal means. This move reflects calls by the Revolution Leader and the President of the Supreme Political Council to promote reconciliation, forgiveness, ending murder and revenge cases, and strengthening unity.
Tawous called for consolidating a culture of tolerance and brotherhood, supporting reconciliation efforts, and enhancing security, stability, and social peace. The attendees praised the generous pardon granted by the victim's family, describing it as a reflection of values of tolerance and the authenticity of Yemeni tribal traditions.
