Hodeidah: The competitions of the Ramadan Championship for veteran players in its seventh edition kicked off this afternoon in Hodeidah city, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office, and with support from the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority and the Arabian Company for Flour Mills.
According to Yemen News Agency, six sports teams, representing the most prominent former football stars in the governorate, are participating in the tournament. The championship is organized in a group stage system and will span 20 days.
In the first match of the tournament, a 1-1 draw was the result between the teams of Jeel Shamsan and Friends of Al-Osaimi, held at the Al-Alfi Sports Stadium.
