Shabab Al-Jeel Club Wraps Up Ramadan Activities in Hodeidah

Hodeidah: Shabab Al-Jeel Club in Hodeidah Governorate concluded the Ramadan sports and cultural competitions and activities organized by the club during the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The event saw wide participation from various federations and sports.

According to Yemen News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Haleesi. The event honored champions from federations including taekwondo, chess, kickboxing, wrestling, table tennis, and parkour. Additionally, individuals excelled in cultural competitions such as memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran and knowledge contests.

The ceremony also featured performances by martial arts and acrobatic teams and was attended by the club's Vice President, Abdulwahid Al-Hatami. During the ceremony, Deputy Haleesi commended the historical role of Shabab Al-Jeel Club and the involvement of its members in sports, religious, and cultural activities. He emphasized these activities as crucial for developing capabilities, honing talents, and promoting fair competition, appreciating the efforts of the club's management and organizing committees.

Ali Jurb, the club's Cultural Official, expressed gratitude for the support from the governorate leadership and the Youth and Sports Office. He highlighted that the wide participation in this year's competitions reflects the club's dedication to maintaining the sports movement and meeting the aspirations of youth in the governorate.

Subsequently, a meeting was held by the management of Shabab Al-Jeel Club, chaired by Vice President Al-Hatami, to discuss the club's administrative and sports conditions. The meeting focused on preparing for upcoming programs to benefit sports in the governorate and Yemeni youth.
