Shahrazad Cultural Foundation Launches ‘Welcome Eid’ Bazaar for Home-Based Producers

Sanaa: The Shahrazad Cultural Foundation has launched the 'Welcome Eid' bazaar for home-based producers in cooperation with several partners. The three-day bazaar, organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and in cooperation with Al-Deira Center 'Qarnad Mall,' features various booths showcasing products made by home-based families. These include food items, Eid sweets, agate and accessories, incense and perfumes, along with other high-quality handmade products.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, attended by Shura Council member Noor Baaboud and Head of the Visual Arts Sector at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Khaled Al-Junaid, Chairwoman of the Shahrazad Foundation Dr. Mona Al-Mahqari emphasized the importance of organizing such bazaars for productive families to display their goods. She explained that these events help introduce and market the families' products, which are known for their quality and reasonable prices, encouraging them to continue production, improve their living conditions, and achieve self-reliance.

Dr. Al-Mahqari described bazaars and exhibitions as a model of partnership between cultural civil society organizations and the private sector, represented by commercial centers and business leaders. She also noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity to promote the products of home-based families and encourage greater creativity and quality, praising the support and efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Al-Deira Center for facilitating the exhibition and enabling families to showcase their products.
