Sheikh Naim Qassem Congratulates Palestinian Resistance and Acknowledges Regional Support

Beirut: Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem congratulated the victory of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and the territories of 1948. He praised the role of the Yemeni leadership and people in supporting the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, as well as the support from Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon in aiding the Palestinian resistance.

According to Yemen News Agency, Qassem emphasized the achievement of the Lebanese resistance in confronting Zionist aggression. He noted that despite efforts to undermine the morale of its people, the enemy was unable to achieve its goal of ending the resistance. Qassem highlighted the necessity of resistance to counter Zionist threats and recognized the Lebanese state’s efforts in pressuring to halt Israeli violations.

Qassem commended the return of the Lebanese people to southern Lebanon following its recovery, considering it a triumph of steadfastness and sacrifice. He noted that the Lebanese resistance inflicted significant losses on the enemy, despite facing challenges, including the loss of some leaders.

In domestic matters, Qassem mentioned the productive collaboration between Hezbollah, Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam, and President Michel Aoun, emphasizing the party’s efforts to promote Lebanon’s interests and stability. He highlighted the role of the national duo in achieving a consensus presidential option, reflecting national unity.

Regarding the assassination of Sheikh Muhammad Hammadi, Qassem stated that the investigation is ongoing and pointed to the possibility of Israeli involvement in the incident.
