Taiz: An expanded meeting was held on Wednesday in the Sherab Al-Rawna District, Taiz Governorate, to review the performance of the Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society and enhance its development and service role.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by several key figures, including Taiz Agricultural Sector official Eng. Abdullah Al-Jundi, District Director Osama Al-Qatabri, and Local Council Secretary-General Abdullah Al-Obaidi. Discussions centered around the challenges confronting various economic projects, with particular attention given to the veterinary clinic project.
The meeting highlighted the need to activate the role of trained animal health workers throughout the district's sub-districts. This activation would involve providing veterinary medicine loans under an organized mechanism, ensuring livestock owners have access to affordable veterinary health and guidance services.
Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional and collective work, clarifying responsibilities, integrating roles, and ensuring the submission of regular reports and project statements. Finally, the meeting called for increased community participation and the attraction of new contributors, in collaboration with local authorities and community organizations.
