Shura Council Condemns U.S.-Israeli Aggression on Iran

Sana’a: Shura Council strongly condemned on Saturday a U.S.-Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling it a blatant violation of state sovereignty and international law.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Council stated that the aggression represents a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability. It argued that the move was aimed at pressuring Iran over its support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and its stance against what it termed colonial projects in the region.

The Council accused the U.S. administration of direct involvement and support, describing Washington as a primary driver of conflicts affecting the region. Reaffirming Yemen’s solidarity with Iran, the statement stressed Tehran’s right to self-defense and to protect its sovereignty. It also called on Arab, Islamic, and international parliaments, as well as human rights organizations, to condemn the attack and work to prevent further escalation.

The Shura Council held the United States and Israel responsible for the consequences of the escalation, warning of broader regional repercussions.
