Sana'a:Residents of the Shu'ub District in the capital held a mass armed tribal gathering, signaling their readiness to confront the escalation by Saudi forces and their mercenaries, while also supporting the Yemeni armed forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering included notable figures such as Shura Council member Ahmed Al-Zubairi, Judge Ibrahim Al-Mansour, and other local officials and community leaders. They expressed their commitment to providing resources and personnel to defend Yemen's sovereignty and independence until the aggression and blockade by Saudi forces are ended.
The participants reaffirmed their support for revolutionary leader Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and praised the armed forces for their successes on the battlefield. They chanted slogans calling for mobilization and victory, highlighting the expulsion of Saudi military build-ups.
Capital Secretariat First Deputy Governor Khalid Al-Madani commended the Shu'ub residents for their participation in mobilization efforts. He referred to the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood operation as a signal of Israel's eventual decline and praised the Yemeni support for Gaza and Palestine. Al-Madani urged those misled in Taiz to return to national ranks and utilize the general amnesty, emphasizing continued support for the fronts.
Shu'ub District Director Haidar Al-Juboub stated that the gathering underscored the residents' resolve to counter escalation and support the armed forces in breaking the blockade and securing Yemen's rights.
A statement read by Ahmed Al-Zubairi declared the mobilization of personnel and equipment to confront alleged crimes by Saudi forces and their mercenaries. It reiterated support for the armed forces and leadership, advocating for the continuation of the 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation' stance until all forms of aggression and injustice are ended.
The statement also highlighted Yemen's commitment to the Palestinian cause and condemned Israeli violations, along with criticizing Arab governments that have normalized relations with Israel.
