Hajjah: The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Hajjah University organized a solidarity sit-in to express support for the Palestinian people and to stand against the oppression faced by those in Gaza.

According to Yemen News Agency, the sit-in was led by the college administration and staff, who collectively condemned the actions of the Zionist entity in Gaza. They also criticized the efforts by some Arab and Islamic regimes towards normalization with Israel, labeling these actions as a betrayal. The participants emphasized their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, expressing their backing for the resistance and fighters in Gaza, and their willingness to make sacrifices in defense of the oppressed.

The participants of the sit-in praised the humanitarian, moral, and courageous stance of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, for his support of the Palestinian people in Gaza. They also highlighted the significant role played by the Yemeni armed forces and citizens in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and honoring the sacrifices of martyrs.

A statement released during the event held the United States, Israel, and regimes normalizing relations with Israel accountable for the severe crimes committed against women and children in Gaza by the Zionist forces. These crimes include the use of starvation and thirst as methods of genocide.

The statement called for continued efforts in mobilization, training, and preparation for direct confrontation with American and Israeli forces, emphasizing the defense of land, honor, and national sovereignty.
