SM Component Calls for Pro-Palestinian Massive Rally in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference and signatory to the Peace and Partnership Agreement has called for a massive million-person rally tomorrow, Friday afternoon, in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana'a, and in other squares across the governorates, in marches "in response to and in support of the Palestinian people... Steadfast and ready for the next round." According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued by the component indicated that the Islamic and nationalist stance of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, confirms that the Republic of Yemen has assumed its role, in accordance with its Islamic affiliation and faith-based identity, by siding with the nation's crucial issues and confronting the projects and schemes of the American and Zionist powers, which aim to violate the nation's territory and resources and subjugate its people. The statement called upon the nations and peoples of the Arab world to recognize the dangers surrounding them, to unite their voices and close ranks to confront the enemies and their conspiracies, and to join the stances of the Republic of Yemen.
