Hodeida: Leaders and employees from the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, along with the Social Welfare Fund and the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled in Hodeida governorate, visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the city to recite al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs. This visit was part of the events marking the annual Martyr’s Anniversary for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was led by Abdulrahman al-Sayegh, Director of the Social Affairs Office, and Adel al-Ahdal, Director of the Social Welfare Fund. During the visit, participants emphasized the significance of visiting martyrs’ cemeteries and exhibitions to draw inspiration from their sacrifices. They stressed the importance of strengthening the values of sacrifice, devotion, and generosity in the face of aggression.
The leaders highlighted the role of the martyrs in restoring the nation’s true course through their steadfastness against global forces represented by the U.S. and Israel. They stated that the martyrs’ sacrifices serve as a guiding light for future generations, promoting dignity, pride, and independence.
Officials further emphasized the importance of following in the martyrs’ footsteps and upholding the principles and values for which they sacrificed. They called for dedication and responsibility toward society, particularly by caring for the martyrs’ families, whom they described as a collective trust upon all.
