Raymah: Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammed Aqabat, along with Raymah Deputy Governor for Services and Development Abdullah Al-Dubaibi, visited the branch of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities and the Disability Training and Rehabilitation Center in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit aimed to review the services provided by the branch and center, as well as the efforts made to support persons with disabilities. Branch Director Ibrahim Shahet provided a briefing on the services available to beneficiaries, recent achievements, and the challenges the branch faces.
During the visit, the officials discussed strategies to enhance the center's performance and the need for essential resources, especially for the computer department. Deputy Minister Aqabat lauded the fund's initiatives to support and integrate persons with disabilities into society, emphasizing the willingness to offer support to meet their needs and improve their economic and vocational skills for labor market inclusion.
Deputy Governor Al-Dubaibi also praised the ministry and fund's initiatives, reaffirming the local authority's dedication to supporting persons with disabilities and addressing any barriers to the fund's work.
