Hodeida: The Social Nationalist Party condemned on Saturday the brutal Saudi aggression targeting civilian infrastructure and vital projects in Hodeida Governorate and Kamaran Island.
According to Yemen News Agency, the party said the Saudi regime's continued targeting of civilian infrastructure and vital projects in Hodeida and Kamaran Island constitutes a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a desperate attempt to keep the Yemeni people under blockade and starvation.
The party said the danger of the course pursued by the Saudi regime extends beyond a humanitarian crime, arguing that it also undermines all prospects for stability and blocks avenues for political solutions based on the roadmap and the Yemeni people's legitimate livelihood entitlements.
The statement praised the competence and capability of the Yemeni Armed Forces in carrying out a qualitative strategic retaliatory operation targeting sensitive Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu. It stressed the pivotal importance of the operation in restoring the balance of deterrence and reinforcing the equation of "escalation in response to escalation."
The statement said striking the heart of Saudi Arabia's oil economy, both deep inside the Kingdom and at alternative ports on the Red Sea, demonstrates in practical terms that the security of regional economic facilities is entirely contingent upon lifting the blockade on Yemeni ports and airports, adding that the policy of "violating Yemen without cost" has come to an irreversible end.
It added that the retaliatory operation demonstrates that attempts to circumvent the Yemeni people's rights to their salaries, resources, and freedom of navigation through piecemeal solutions will not succeed, and that the principle of "blockade for blockade and lifting for lifting" has become a binding rule on the ground for all parties.
The Social Nationalist Party said protecting national sovereignty through the swift and precise response has demonstrated that Yemen possesses the sovereign will and capability to protect its people and resources. It added that the response imposed what it described as a "practical embargo" preventing the enemy from exploiting the fragile truce to further tighten economic pressure on the Yemeni people.
The party renewed its call for a comprehensive end to what it described as the aggression and blockade against Yemen, urging the immediate implementation of the roadmap, foremost among its provisions the reopening of airports and seaports, the payment of salaries to all state employees, and compensation for the destruction caused during the 12 years of aggression.
It warned that continued procrastination and escalation would bring the Saudi regime and its partners nothing but further economic crises and increased operational risks to energy supply chains.
