Sana'a: The Board of the Public Social Security Institution, chaired by Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khalid al-Hawali, met on Monday to discuss enhancing insurance sector performance and improving services for insured workers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting covered several critical areas including the formation of an investment committee, supplementary compensation projects, expansion of insurance coverage, and addressing overlapping pension funds. These discussions are aimed at refining the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided to insured workers.
The board also reviewed investment evaluations and the challenges currently faced by the institution. They explored new options for managing funds, focusing on high-return, low-risk projects to ensure the safety and growth of the insured funds. This strategic approach aims to safeguard the financial interests of workers while enhancing the overall performance of the insurance sector.
