Bayda: Summer courses concluded on Sunday in al-Sawadiyah, Rural al-Bayda, al-Sawma'ah, and al-Riyashiyah districts of the Bayda governorate, marked by student and scouting displays.

According to Yemen News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by Shura Council member Abdullah al-Mudhaffari, where students showcased scouting displays, raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, and chanted slogans denouncing the perceived enemies of God and the nation.

The province undersecretary, Ali Shaikh Bayda, praised the teachers and staff for their efforts in enlightening course participants and instilling Quranic culture and religious sciences. He highlighted that the displeasure of the courses' critics is testament to their role in safeguarding society against misguided ideologies.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of summer programs in nurturing a generation conscious of and devoted to Allah Almighty, His Messenger, and the guiding principles of Islam. The efforts of the Governorate's Summer Program Activities Subcommittee were also commended for their successful execution this year.

Several speeches highlighted that the success of the summer programs reflects community awareness and parental recognition of their role in shielding children from harmful ideologies and soft warfare threats. The creative artwork and skills demonstrated by the students during the presentations were seen as evidence of the abilities and talents fostered in scouting, showcasing both their memorization of the Holy Quran and their innovative outputs from the summer activities.
