Hodeida: The Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference, which signed the Peace and Partnership Agreement, has condemned the Zionist entity's aggression against civilian targets in Hodeida Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the component viewed this aggression as clear evidence of the anger and rage from the nation's Zionist and American adversaries over Yemen's historical support for the Palestinian people and their resistance. The statement stressed that this aggression will, with divine assistance, bolster the Yemeni people's resolve to support the Palestinian cause and the free people of Gaza against Israeli actions.
The component praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' strategic military operations targeting the Zionist adversaries in the occupied Palestinian territories. It noted that the immediate response to the aggression serves as a powerful message to the nation's enemies, showcasing the Yemeni Armed Forces' readiness and capability to counter any form of escalation.
The statement further highlighted the effective role of the Yemeni-made air defense system, which compelled the aggressive Zionist-American warplanes to retreat. It emphasized that the port of Hodeida is a civilian facility critical for the entry of food, essential goods, and medicine, and any attempt to damage it would exacerbate the humanitarian crisis affecting all Yemenis.
The Southern Movement called on global citizens, the United Nations, and international organizations to denounce the attacks on civilian facilities in Hodeida and to actively work towards halting Zionist actions and safeguarding civilian infrastructure.
