Speaker of Consultative Council Condoles Death of President Ali Salim Al-Beidh

Sana'a: The Speaker of the Consultative Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Aidarous, sent a condolence and sympathy message on the death of former Vice President of the Republic, President Ali Salim Al-Beidh, at the age of 90 after a life full of national and struggle work.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Speaker of the Consultative Council praised in the message sent to the deceased's sons Hani and Amr, his family, and the entire Al-Beidh family, the struggle record of the deceased and his prominent role in the ranks of the national movement against British colonialism in the south of the homeland, and his effective contribution to the liberation battle and armed struggle that culminated in independence on November 30, 1967.

He noted the historical role undertaken by President Ali Salim Al-Beidh in achieving Yemeni unity on May 22, 1990, as one of the most prominent makers of this achievement in the modern history of Yemen.

The Speaker of the Consultative Council expressed sincere condolences and profound sympathy to the deceased's family, his loved ones, and the entire Al-Beidh family in the directorates of Al-Raydah and Qasair in Hadhramaut Governorate.
