Sana’a: The Speaker of the Shura Council, Muhammad Hussein al-Aidaroos, sent a message of condolence on the passing of the esteemed scholar Habib Omar bin Hamid al-Jilani, after a life dedicated to serving Islamic sciences and promoting reconciliation.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his message, al-Aidaroos praised the deceased’s virtues and scholarly stature, noting that he was among the nation’s leading scholars and left behind a rich intellectual and missionary legacy that will remain in the hearts of the nation.
