Speaker of Yemeni Parliament Sends Congratulatory Messages to Global Counterparts

Sana'a: The Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, has extended congratulatory cables to his counterparts in Lebanon, Argentina, Ethiopia, and Georgia on the occasion of their respective national celebrations.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra'i congratulated the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, on the 25th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day, which commemorates Lebanon's liberation from Israeli occupation in 2000. This significant day is a reminder of Lebanon's struggle and resilience in regaining its sovereignty.

In his message to Argentina, Al-Ra'i conveyed his greetings to Mart­n Menem, the President of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies, on Argentina's National Day. This occasion celebrates the country's rich history and the enduring friendship between Yemen and Argentina.

Al-Ra'i also addressed a congratulatory note to Tagesse Chafo, the Speaker of the Ethiopian House of Peoples' Representatives, celebrating Ethiopia's National Day. This day signifies the unity and cultural heritage of the Ethiopian people.

Lastly, the Speaker extended his congratulations to Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, on Georgia's Independence Day. This day marks Georgia's journey towards independence and its aspirations for a prosperous future.
