Special Workshop Focuses on Organizing and Activating Code of Conduct Teams at Ministry of Education

Aden: A workshop was held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research to organize and activate the activities of teams tasked with implementing the Code of Conduct and Work Ethics.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, emphasized the importance of the session in clarifying the organizational and procedural framework for the Code of Conduct teams, their structural tiers, and their organizational relationships.

Speaking to participants-which included ministry undersecretaries, heads of affiliated institutions, members of the National Code of Conduct Team, and sub-teams within the ministry-Dr. Al-Duais highlighted the need to raise awareness regarding public service responsibilities. He stressed building a work environment based on institutional compliance, respect for laws and regulations, and instilling values of integrity, discipline, and professional accountability.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development for Evaluation and Training, Al-Ezzi Al-Hatami, addressed the importance of the workshop in defining the tasks and responsibilities of supervisory and sub-teams. He noted that establishing clear working relationships with the central team prevents overlap and duplication of duties, enhances integration, improves coordination and information exchange, and resolves operational challenges in the field.

He also reviewed the workshop's four main axes: The Organizational Framework Manual, Mechanisms for Preparing Plans and Reports, Performance Indicators and Monitoring/Evaluation Mechanisms, Ministry-Approved Practical Initiatives.
