Sana'a: The Specialized Criminal Division in Sana'a has commuted the death sentence of Adnan Ali Hussein Al Harazi, director of the "Broadge Systems" company, to 15 years imprisonment. Al Harazi was convicted of espionage for hostile foreign countries and of collecting and leaking sensitive sovereign information that was harmful to Yemen's security.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a separate case, the court upheld the preliminary death sentence against Issa Abdulhameed and two of his associates. They were convicted of forming an armed gang, committing crimes including murder and attempted murder, as well as resisting security forces. Additionally, the court confirmed prison sentences ranging from three to six years for other defendants involved in the same case.
