Al-mahwit: A specialized training workshop for 22 notary publics from Hufash District was held today in Al-Mahwit Governorate. It was organized by the Documentation Office of the Court of Appeal in cooperation with the Hufash Primary Court and the Documentation Clerk.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop is part of a program for qualifying and developing notaries for the year 1447 AH. The initiative aims to elevate documentation performance and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. The workshop addressed the legal roles and responsibilities of the notary public, reviewing the procedural guide for notaries and certified notary publics approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. In addition, it covered legal controls related to combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the challenges facing documentation work.
The workshop also included practical training for participants on the correct mechanisms for documenting contracts, with a focus on taking fingerprints of contract parties to ensure the safety of procedures and preserve rights. During the event, the Director of the Documentation Office, Fahd Fadael, presented some of the most prominent practical problems facing documentation work in the district and proposed solutions.
Participants emphasized the importance of enhancing oversight over the work of notary publics and raising community awareness about the necessity of dealing with officially authorized entities. At the end of the workshop, the procedural guide for notaries and notary publics and certificates were distributed to the participants.
