Sa'ada: The Education Sector in Sa'dah Governorate and Al-Saeed Secondary Educational Complex organized a speech and cultural event today to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, the ally of the Quran, under the slogan "Insight and Struggle."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the head of the Education Sector in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Dawla, and his deputy, Abdullah Al-Jalal. Scholar Muhammad Al-Mu'ayyad reviewed aspects of Imam Zayd's life, his scholarly character, and his struggle, explaining how the ally of the Quran acted out of a sense of religious responsibility towards the deviation and increasing injustice witnessed by the nation.
He addressed the Quranic objectives of Imam Zayd's revolution, which focused on upholding the word of Allah, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and lifting oppression from the downtrodden. He emphasized that adherence to the Ahlul-Bayt (the Prophet's family) protects society from misguided ideologies. Al-Mu'ayyad highlighted the nation's need for keen insight and high awareness to distinguish between right and wrong, noting that the neglect of the Ahl al-Bayt's approach throughout history has made the nation a target for its enemies.
