Speech Event in Al-Shahil Marks Qur’an Martyr Anniversary

Hajjah: A speech event was held in Al-Shahil District of Hajjah Governorate to mark Qur’an Martyr annual anniversary Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. Speakers at the event urged drawing lessons from the sacrifices of the late leader in advancing the Qur’anic project he founded.



According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers highlighted the dignity and achievements Yemen has witnessed in various fields, attributed to what they described as the Qur’anic approach and project established by the late leader. The event also reviewed the challenges and sacrifices he faced in laying the foundations of this path, along with major milestones in his life and his role in motivating the wider Muslim community.



Speakers considered the anniversary-coinciding with the commemoration of Isra and Mi’raj-an occasion to reinforce Islamic identity and Qur’anic culture. They stressed the importance of continuing to support the causes of the Muslim nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and defending Islamic sanctities, including Al-Aqsa Mosque, while fostering greater awareness and insight.
