Al-tawilah district: Al-Tawilah District in Mahweet governorate organized a speech event on Sunday to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur'an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, under the slogan: 'The Martyr Leader: A Symbol of a Just Cause and the Founder of a Great Project.'
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the district's Director General, Rashid Marwan, and the district's General Mobilization official, Ali Sharaf al-Din, emphasized that the commemoration is a significant occasion to draw lessons from the martyr's jihadist and intellectual path. It serves as a reminder to renew commitment to following his approach in confronting forces of injustice and tyranny and defending the causes of the nation.
Sharaf al-Din highlighted that the Martyr Leader played a crucial role in restoring awareness within the nation, consolidating its faith-based identity, and fortifying society against intellectual and cultural invasion. He further exposed the false slogans of global arrogance, particularly those of the United States and the Zionist entity.
He noted that the Martyr Leader faced forces of tyranny with steadfastness, faith, and courage, providing a model of sincerity, sacrifice, and responsibility. He laid the foundations of a Qur'anic project that aimed to restore the nation's true compass.
Sharaf al-Din also mentioned that the martyr's thought and enlightened Qur'anic discourse were instrumental in awakening a sense of responsibility among the nation's people toward their pivotal causes, with the Palestinian cause being the central issue of the Islamic nation.
The event was attended by executive office directors, local and mobilization leaders, and social figures, and featured chants and poetic recitations.
