Dhamar: The local authority and the General Mobilization Division in Al-Hayma Interior District, Sana'a Province, organized a speech event on Wednesday to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, as well as the National Resilience Day and International Al-Quds Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was organized by the educational sector in the directorate. Talib Dahan, the head of the educational sector in the province, emphasized the significance of observing the last days and nights of Ramadan by increasing the remembrance of God. He advocated for drawing closer to God through obedience, engaging in good deeds, inspecting the poor, and embodying the social solidarity urged by Islamic teachings.
Directorate Director Kamal Al-Askari highlighted the importance of commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom alongside the National Day of Steadfastness and International Al-Quds Day. He noted these observances are crucial for reinforcing values such as sacrifice, courage, and jihad. Al-Askari stressed the lessons learned from these events are vital for strengthening resilience against external aggression and supporting Gaza.
Abdulkarim Al-Qaraafi, head of the educational sector in the directorate, discussed the holy month of Ramadan as an educational period that reinforces Islamic principles and values. He noted the month combines spiritual and material efforts to achieve justice, support the oppressed, and promote freedom and peace. Al-Qaraafi also mentioned the various programs and activities aimed at preparing a generation ready to face both present and future challenges.
