Sana'a: The Director General of the General Corporation for Spinning and Textile Industry, Engineer Waleed Al-Qadami, honored today the head of Al-Jumhouri Hospital in Sana'a, Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, as part of the corporation's efforts to establish an effective model of partnership and support the localization of vital industries, foremost among them those related to the health sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Qadami affirmed that this honor comes in appreciation of the efforts of the hospital's leadership in supporting and activating aspects of joint cooperation, particularly in the field of localizing some medical supplies. This initiative contributes to enhancing reliance on local products, reducing the import bill, and improving the efficiency of the medical supply system.
He pointed out that the health sector is one of the most prominent sectors targeted within the strategy of localizing textile industries, especially products with medical uses, given their role in achieving national health security. He noted that the corporation is committed to developing its productive capacities and directing them to meet the needs of the local market according to high-quality standards.
For his part, Dr. Jahaf affirmed the importance of continued coordination and joint work between productive institutions and the health sector, contributing to the development of medical services and enhancing reliance on national industries.
