Sanaa: The General Department of Traffic Police organized a stand on Wednesday, affirming full readiness and mobilization, in response to the call of the Revolution Leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to end the aggression and lift the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants from the leadership, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Traffic Police expressed their full support and endorsement of the contents of the Leader of the Revolution's historic statement on the occasion of the Prophet's Hijra anniversary. They renewed their pledge and steadfastness on the principled national and religious stance in confronting all conspiracies and challenges targeting Yemen and the Arab and Islamic nations.
The Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Burashi, stated that traffic personnel are not detached from the battle to confront challenges but are at the forefront of service to the nation and in safeguarding its security and stability. He pointed out that the response of Traffic Police personnel today to the call of the Leader of the Revolution stems from their sense of religious and national responsibility in this exceptional stage of Yemen's history.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Director General of Traffic, Brigadier Ali Al-Washli, emphasized the importance of preparedness and raising readiness to meet the requirements of the current phase. He noted the responsibility placed on everyone to defend land and honor in response to divine directives, in fulfillment of the call of the Revolution Leader, and in readiness for any emergency.
A statement issued by the stand called on everyone to continue raising readiness and support the leadership's options in defending the homeland and its resources. It urged working toward ending the aggression, occupation, lifting the blockade, and achieving full freedom, independence, and sovereignty. The statement also highlighted the importance of strengthening internal unity and called on citizens to enhance national cohesion and integrate official and popular efforts to face challenges, while declaring full readiness and active engagement in mobilization and qualification programs to support the battle for national defense.
