Al-tuhayta: Students from schools in the Al-Tuhayta District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, organized a massive march on Sunday. The event, which saw participation from both students and teaching staff, aimed to show solidarity with the people of Gaza and the broader Palestinian population, while condemning the ongoing siege and starvation crimes imposed on the region by what they termed the American-Zionist enemy.
According to Yemen News Agency, the march was led by the district's education sector official, along with several school principals and teachers. Participants carried banners expressing unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian people, denouncing the brutal massacres and genocidal crimes targeting defenseless civilians in Gaza. The marchers chanted slogans demanding an end to the siege and aggression, asserting that global powers bear full responsibility for the atrocities committed against the Palestinians.
The participants criticized the siege and starvation policies as war crimes, allegedly carried out with the support and supervision of the U.S. administration and Western allies. They argued that these measures aim to break the Palestinian will and resilience. Furthermore, they praised Yemen's naval operations in support of Gaza, viewing it as a strategic move that reinforces Yemen's active role in opposing the Zionist enemy and supporting resistance efforts until the siege is lifted.
A statement from the march emphasized Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine, describing it as a deeply ingrained moral and religious duty. The statement urged global resistance forces and free peoples to escalate actions in support of Palestine, advocating for the opening of crossings to allow the flow of essential supplies and the complete lifting of the blockade on Gaza.
