Amran: Schools across the districts of Khamer, Qaflat Uthar, Bani Suraym, Al-Asha, Al-Madan, Raydah, Maswar, and Jabal Yazid in Amran Governorate organized student rallies and marches on Wednesday in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza, which is facing genocide, massacres, and starvation imposed by the Israeli occupation.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the demonstrations, students raised the Palestinian and Yemeni flags and held banners expressing disavowal of the enemies of God. They chanted slogans condemning the silence of Arab and Islamic countries and the complicity of the international community in the crimes committed by the Israeli Zionist enemy.

The students reaffirmed their steadfast stance in supporting their brothers and sisters in Gaza, expressing their readiness to confront the Zionist entity directly. They also called on Arab and Islamic nations to take serious action against the regime committing acts of mass murder, starvation, and thirst, while enforcing a blockade on Gaza with U.S. and Western backing.

A statement issued during the protests emphasized Yemen's humanitarian position in supporting the oppressed and standing against aggressors. It held the United States and the Zionist entity responsible for the genocide and for using starvation as a weapon-a crime that exposes the hypocrisy of those claiming to uphold human rights and freedoms.

The statement also held the silent and negligent leaders of Arab and Islamic regimes accountable for the enemy's continued atrocities. It affirmed that rallies, marches, and events will persist until the aggression ends and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
