Al-Hodeida: Students and academics from the University of Al-Hodeida Arts Complex organized a protest on Monday, denouncing the ongoing crimes of US aggression against the Yemeni people and expressing solidarity with Palestinians resisting Israeli occupation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the protest was attended by the university president, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, with participants raising slogans in full solidarity with Gaza and Palestine amidst escalating Israeli crimes supported by the US. The demonstrators emphasized their commitment to national and Islamic positions, with Palestine being the principal cause for Arabs and Muslims.

A statement released during the event urged the international community to address the genocidal wars against Yemeni and Palestinian peoples. It condemned the recent attack on the Ras Issa facility in Hodeida, resulting in civilian casualties, and labeled it an extension of ongoing aggression crimes.

The statement also highlighted the Yemeni people's resolve to continue their general nafir until achieving victory for the Arab and Islamic nation, urging wider participation in the nafir activities. It affirmed that Gaza would not stand alone against occupation, with Yemen at the forefront of defending national causes.

Participants concluded the vigil with slogans advocating for popular resistance against aggression, asserting that victory stems from unity and the peoples' insistence on their legitimate rights against oppression.
