Sana’a: The General Mobilization in the Tahreer district, Sana’a City, late on Wednesday organized a cultural festival to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Martyr Leader, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, under the slogan “Martyr of the Qur’an”.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Sheikh Khaled Musa, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, spoke about the virtues and exploits of the Martyr Leader. He highlighted al-Houthi’s life of faith and jihad, which qualified him to implement the Quranic project, and noted that the blessed march was achieved through the sacrifices of the first generation, who gave their lives for the cause.

Sheikh Musa emphasized the steadfastness, stability, and victory of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression. He also pointed to their support for the Palestinian people and their resistance as outcomes of this blessed march. He urged everyone to rally around the Quranic project, seeing it as a solution to the crises and dangers facing the Arab and Islamic nations.

He further remarked that the Quranic approach has not diminished with the loss of the Martyr Leader as intended by his adversaries. Instead, it has grown stronger and more vibrant, spreading across the nation and accommodating its people.

The event saw the attendance of Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Wali, Director of General Mobilization in the district, along with directors, employees of executive offices, officials of general mobilization, sheikhs, elders, and members of the district community.
