Sana’a: Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, has initiated the distribution of the fourth batch of support from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development. This support aims to fund community initiative projects within the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution was inaugurated in the presence of Badr al-Din Al-Tayar, the representative of the Interventions Unit for Taiz and Lahj governorates, and Mostafa Bahjar, Director of Community Initiatives in Taiz. The support consists of 10,000 cement bags intended to enhance community initiatives across multiple sectors.
During the launch, Al-Masawi expressed gratitude for the attention provided by the revolutionary and political leadership, as well as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development. He stressed the significance of this support in encouraging community-led development efforts in Taiz, which are crucial for delivering services to rural areas.
Al-Tayar, representing the Interventions Unit, reaffirmed the Unit’s ongoing dedication to supporting community projects in alignment with leadership directives. This support is seen as a means to achieve sustainable and inclusive development, with active citizen participation playing a key role.
Sheikh Mohammed Naif also highlighted the importance of this support, noting that it complements community efforts across all districts of the governorate.
