Taiz Deputy Governor Inspects Summer Courses and Agricultural Development in Jabal Habashi

Sana'a: Abdulwase' Al-Shamsi, Deputy Governor of Taiz for Development Affairs, inspected the activities of the summer courses at Al-Samad Model Summer School in the Jabal Habashi district.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Al-Shamsi was accompanied by key officials including Taiz's Agriculture Sector Official, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jundi, Jabal Habashi District Director Mohammed Al-Mansoub, Executive Director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union Branch Amer Al-Ahdal, and Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Office Qaid Al-Nahl. During their visit, they reviewed the level of student enrollment and the quality of the programs offered at the Al-Samad Center.

Deputy Al-Shamsi commended the efforts made to ensure the success of the summer courses, highlighting their importance in protecting youth from misguided ideologies and enhancing their knowledge of the Holy Qur'an, fostering a faith-based identity, and developing essential skills.

In addition to the educational inspections, Al-Shamsi and his colleagues also visited farms in Wadi Makair, in the Balad Al-Wafi area of the Jabal Habashi District. These farms are known for cultivating mango trees and a variety of other fruits.

The visiting delegation heard from several farmers who expressed their needs for improved pest control measures, preventive actions, and enhanced irrigation networks for their agricultural lands. Deputy Al-Shamsi assured the farmers that the cooperative association would address these challenges and work towards implementing several economic empowerment projects to support the agricultural community.
