Taiz: Al-Hisiya road initiative project inspected. Taiz Governorate's Director General of Community Initiatives, Mustafa Bahajer, conducted an inspection on Tuesday to review the progress of the Al-Hisiya road project in Al-Mashjab area, Al-Salw District.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being carried out with support from the local authority through the Community Initiatives Department and has currently achieved 30 percent completion. The initiative aims to open and expand a 1-km road, which is valued at 22 million rials. This development is expected to significantly enhance the transportation and marketing of agricultural produce to markets in Al-Dimna and Al-Raydah within Khadir District, thereby benefiting approximately 2,000 residents and farmers.
The financial contributions for the road project have been distributed among different stakeholders. The local community has contributed 11 million rials, while the local authority has provided 7 million rials. Additionally, the Roads Executive Unit has allocated 4 million rials to the project.
