Taiz Governorate Security Department Hosts Event for Prophet’s Birthday Commemoration

Taiz: The Taiz Governorate Security Department organized a speech and recitation evening to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) for the year 1448 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by several notable figures, including Shura Council member Salah Bajash, Deputy Ministers of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani and Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser, Security Director Brigadier General Shukri Mahyoub, and other high-ranking officials. Director of Criminal Investigation Colonel Yasser Majour emphasized the significance of this occasion, highlighting it as a spiritual and mobilizing moment to remind attendees of their religious and national responsibilities. He stressed the importance of upholding the trust of Islam and advancing its eternal message, as per the Almighty's words.

Colonel Majour addressed the current challenges faced by the nation due to external pressures and conflicts. He called for increased unity, patience, and resilience in the face of adversities, urging the community to fortify the home front and thwart any attempts by adversaries to disrupt national cohesion. By doing so, he believes the nation can ensure the failure of external conspiracies.

He further encouraged rallying around the leadership to maintain unity and to reflect the true image of Islam's glory and civilization. Emphasizing the values of human dignity and legitimate rights, he urged the community to emulate the Prophet Muhammad's moral values and courage. Colonel Majour invited everyone to participate in the upcoming central event on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal in the Prophet's Square, to honor the noble Prophet and demonstrate unity against adversaries.

Sheikh Khalid Musa, Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen the emulation of the Prophet and to reinforce resilience against aggression. He praised the role of security services, emphasizing their support for the armed forces and their commitment to the Prophet's principles in confronting disbelief and hypocrisy. He called for active community and media engagement to showcase the significance of this religious occasion.

The evening also featured poetry recitations, songs, and an operetta, attended by assistant directors of security departments, sections, and prominent community figures.
