Taiz Health Office Provides Medical Aid to Five Facilities

Taiz: The Health and Environment Office in Taiz governorate distributed medicines and medical supplies to five health facilities in several districts, with support from the Deem Development Organization. The aid, valued at $12,750, aims to enhance healthcare services in these areas.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Abdulmalik al-Mutawakil, Director General of the Health Office in the governorate, detailed that the targeted facilities include al-Wahda Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Sala district, al-Rahida General Hospital in Khadir district, al-Dama Ahkoum Rural Hospital in Haifan district, al-Hurriya Rural Hospital in Sharab al-Rawnah, and al-Aghwal Health Center in al-Tazeyah.

Dr. al-Mutawakil stated that the distribution of medicines and supplies is expected to improve the level of health services and alleviate the suffering of patients in these districts. He further emphasized the ongoing commitment of the Ministry of Health and local authorities to ensure the provision of essential health services to citizens, particularly in rural areas.
