Taiz: Local officials in Taiz province launched on Wednesday the harvest of a soybean and wheat farming trial in Maqbanah district, alongside a date seedling project. The initiative, led by local authorities, showed promising results in yield and quality after three months of cultivation.
According to Yemen News Agency, officials said the success could support the expansion of soybean and wheat farming in other districts. They also highlighted plans to increase cultivated areas, support farmers, and improve grain marketing, aiming to boost local production and strengthen food security.
