Taiz Local Authority Initiates Plans for Presidential Amnesty on West Coast

Taiz: The local authority in Taiz Governorate has confirmed that preparations are underway to implement the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, regarding the presidential amnesty for all those misled on the West Coast fronts who have laid down their arms and returned to reason.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Taiz local authority explained that these preparations primarily involve securing safe routes and passages for returnees and facilitating their return to their villages and homes.

The authority noted that the presidential amnesty embodies the leadership's wisdom and its commitment to sparing bloodshed, reuniting Yemenis, and saving them from the ravages of war. It represents a golden opportunity for anyone who was swept up or dragged into the ranks of the Saudi enemy to return to the fold of the homeland and their people without fear or hesitation; the homeland has room for everyone, and there is no place for revenge or settling scores.

The governorate's local authority called upon all those misled on the West Coast fronts to take immediate action by laying down their arms and rejoining their families and loved ones. It urged them not to hesitate or heed rumors and calls from the tools of aggression-which aim to prolong the conflict and cause them to miss this opportunity.

The authority also called on those misled to place "full confidence in the leadership and the local authority, assuring them that they will be welcomed, and that all necessary arrangements will be made to reintegrate them into society, enabling them to return as upstanding citizens-sharing equal rights and responsibilities-and to resume their normal lives."
