Taiz: The branches of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, the Public Electricity Corporation, the General Postal Authority, and the Planning Sector in Taiz province organized a speech event today on the occasion of Al-Wilayah Day. During the event, the Director-General of the Public Electricity Corporation, Dr. Mishal Al-Rifi, highlighted the significance of commemorating Al-Wilayah Day, emphasizing Yemen's confrontation against global forces militarily and economically amidst a comprehensive siege.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Rifi affirmed that the Yemeni people, under the leadership of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, have achieved a balance of deterrence, teaching harsh lessons to the aggressive forces. This achievement is attributed to their unity, rallying around their leadership and armed forces, and their commitment to awareness and faith. Al-Rifi also addressed the American and Israeli aggression targeting civilian infrastructure, such as electricity facilities, ports, and airports, which aim to economically weaken Yemen and disrupt citizens' lives. Despite these challenges, Yemen remains steadfast in its stance supporting the Palestinian people.
For his part, the head of the Planning Sector, Muhammad Al-Washli, emphasized that Al-Wilayah is a principle to fortify the nation against infiltration and to strengthen its resilience by adhering to the correct Islamic path. He highlighted the importance of pledging allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and guiding leaders. Meanwhile, Hisham Al-Hamiri, in his speech, pointed out the targeting and conspiracies faced by the nation, which aim to fragment, subjugate, and occupy it. He stressed the need for awakening, vigilance, and adherence to the true Islamic path.
