Taiz Road Projects Undergo Inspection by Military and Public Works Officials

Taiz: Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khalid, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Zone, together with Bakil Hameed, head of the Public Works Sector in Taiz province, carried out an inspection of the 21 September Street paving project in Al-Ta'iziyah Directorate today.

According to Yemen News Agency, the paving project is funded by the local authority in the province and is valued at a total of 262 million and 800 thousand Yemeni riyals. During the inspection, they were accompanied by key figures including Hossam Al-Fatesh, Director of the Road Maintenance Executive Unit, Abduljalil Al-Himyari, Deputy Director of Public Works in the province, and Eng. Akram Al-Wahbani, Director of the Projects Department in Public Works.

Additionally, the officials assessed the restoration and maintenance work on Al-Ajoud Road in the Shar'ab As-Salam Directorate, which is also backed by the local authority with a total cost of 142 million and 500 thousand riyals. The inspection further extended to the ongoing second phase of the road restoration and maintenance project in the Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah Directorate, supported by the local authority at a cost of 116 million and 500 thousand riyals.

The officials highlighted that these road rehabilitation and maintenance efforts in the province's directorates are in line with the revolutionary and political directives of the Change and Building Government. They stressed the critical role of roads as essential conduits for delivering services to citizens in remote districts and villages.
