Taiz: The Taiz Traffic Police Department inaugurated the demarcation and numbering of motorcycles using an electronic system at the department’s automated issuance center on Saturday. This initiative follows directives from the Interior Ministry and is part of the General Directorate of Traffic Police’s strategic plan.
According to Yemen News Agency, Brigadier General Fatek Al-Shamsi, Director of Taiz Traffic Police, confirmed the launch of the motorcycle numbering program in collaboration with the Province Security Department. This move is aligned with the Interior Ministry’s directives and aims to streamline traffic management within the province.
Brigadier General Al-Shamsi highlighted that motorcycle owners have voluntarily approached the province to obtain their license plate numbers. He emphasized the Traffic Department’s commitment to enhancing and simplifying service procedures for citizens. Furthermore, he urged motorcyclists and owners to visit the province’s traffic department for numbering to help regulate traffic in the area.
